The Sheperd's Pen

Grace to you and peace through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; who is the Author and Finisher of our Faith.

Words cannot begin to describe the feeling that I have at this moment. As I reflect over these last few years here, the only word I can use to sum up the experience is "challenging." The time period through Covid has been a major challenge to us all and we must be hopeful that with God's help we will continue to worship, serve and praise God in the place and this community for a long time.

We, at West End Presbyterian Church, praise the Lord for all that is taking place and all that the Lord has in store in the days ahead as we lift our hearts in praise and in gratitude to our Lord who has brought us to this point in our history.

Now we move into the next phase of Easter. We've experienced the Resurrection and now we must live it, in our homes, our places of work and here in the Church.

I am thankful that God has continued to dwell in this place and that God will give us a deeper revelation of God's self in our lives. Let us strive to grow in the knowledge, grace, and truth of God. Believe it or not, all that we have seen in these past few years, God has remained faithful in allowing us to meet, worship and give thanks and hopefully God has more in store for this great church and the people.

I solicit your continued prayers in my ministry here. I pray that the God of grace, mercy and peace will forever be in your lives, your homes, and every endeavor you undertake. Let us thus proceed into where God leads and place our faith in the One whom we serve each and every day.

Salaam-Alaikum peace be Upon You

Tony
